The dividend in the high Interest atmosphere becomes a very important tool, for the Investors. As, it gives an extra edge to stay invested and keeps the recurring income Tab ON . It also gives the Trader an important Parameter In Short Term Traders
Without Obliviousness, One has to keep this factors in mind :
1) The Dividend Yield. Dividend/Cash Market + Brokerage+Other charges if any.
2) The Book Closure dates and the Record date.
3) The Dividend Paying record of the company
4) The balance sheets and the prospect of the company i.e. Future dividend Paying Capacity
5) Ideally, Companies should Pay the dividend from the Net income, But sometimes it is not so. Hence, Stay away from such Trappers.
6) The 52 week High and Low, gives a fair assessment of the Range of the Stock Price
7) Please, Also confirm the data with the Broker before Placing the order Or from the Company Or Exchange.
In the coming week, I found
GIC Housing Finance lTD, as good Dividend Yielding stock. The company is Owned By GIC, a sort of G.O.I . The Lending against houses is still a good business in India. The Price Range is 125/92 appx., which is much less volatile. The Company has long term dividend paying record ( as good as HDFC ? )
Well, this stuff may not Inspire or excite, many folks. As this GIC Housing may not multi bagger, but a safe bet that keeps study flow going. I think Investment is a boring Run of the Mill issue of making Money, than exiting news events, as portrayed by C.N.B.C. All the data is below:
